  • Suspended ceilings create the appearance of a false ceiling using tiles set in a metal grid, suspended from the structural ceiling by wires.     Hertford Drylining installs a variety of suspended ceilings, including traditional tile and grid systems, metal panelled ceilings, and M/F suspended plasterboard ceilings. Damp Proofing / Membrane Tanking

  • If you're noticing mould, flaky paint, or damp plaster in your home, Hertford Drylining offers quick and effective damp proofing solutions. Rising damp, often caused by a defective or absent damp-proof course, can be identified through building surveys or visible signs like damp patches and tide marks. Penetrating damp, caused by factors such as high outside ground levels or direct rain, can result in moisture stains, mould, a musty odour, and even timber issues like wet or dry rot.

  • This is a more heavy-duty waterproofing solution, usually applied in areas below ground level, such as basements. It involves installing a waterproof membrane on the inside or outside of the walls to create a barrier that prevents water ingress entirely. It’s commonly used when there's high hydrostatic pressure to ensure full protection from groundwater.

Rendering and Cladding

Screeding
